These precious siblings have adjusted well in their foster home during the last 6 years. They listen to advice and behave themselves. The foster mother finds them good in general. At ages 4 & 5 the siblings were assessed and found to have overall development and speech delays. They have received therapy and are showing gradual improvements. They are now mainstreamed in their school. The male sibling is studying grade 4 with good academic result. He enjoys math and extracurricular activities. He is able to complete his home work with little guidance. He is very inquisitive and loves to explore. The female sibling is studying grade 3 with a good learning attitude. Though she has limited intelligence and learning difficulties she desires to work hard. She is weak in calculation and cognitive and conceptual thinking. She is receiving tutoring to assist her in these areas. She enjoys dancing and attends classes to assist with social skills. Both siblings are equipped with satisfactory self-care skills. They get along well with each other though there is normal sibling rivalry. They both look forward to having a permanent home. They have good general health. | ||
