Gender: Female

Special need(s):
Microcephaly
Epilepsy
Spastic hemiparesis on left side.

At 12 years old, this smiling young girl has various special needs and will need a dedicated, supportive and loving family to help her thrive.  She is said to be a very sweet and loving child by nature.
The child’s mother disappeared when she was 8 months old and has now passed away.  Her father is older and does not have the health or economic resources to care for her.  He has placed the child for adoption hoping to find her a home before he is unable to care for her any longer.
She was born with multiple special needs including microcephaly, epilepsy and spastic hemiparesis on the left side.  The child sustained head injuries when she experienced a fall at the age of 8 months.  A surgery was performed at that time; however, the extent of the injuries is not known.  She has been on medication for her epilepsy since she was 4 years old.  She displays signs of both physical and developmental delays.
This child will require individual attention and a loving family who will willingly work with the appropriate resources to meet her needs.  She is a delightful young girl who is ready to bring her beautiful personality into a family.  We feel she will thrive in a family environment with fewer children where she can receive individualized attention.
According to the country requirements, applicants must be married and between the ages of 23-55.  Families must have a positive net worth and a minimum income of $10,000 per family member, including the adopted child.
