Cerebral Palsy
Paralysis of left leg

This lovely 6 year old was found abandoned at a market fruit stand only days after her birth.  There is a $4,000 grant available to assist with her adoption.
Although she has a quiet and gentle personality, she loves to learn.  She can be nervous around strangers or in strange places; however, if contact is slow and patient, she adapts well to the surroundings and those new to her.  She likes to play games with other child in the institute such as sliding board and seesaw.  She loves to take care of the younger children in the orphanage and will watch cartoons with them.  The child is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, loves to read picture books, knows her colors and is said to be fond of imitating others.
This precious child has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and has paralysis of the left leg caused by a brain lesion.  She independently cares for herself and is able to move about without assistance.  Her intellectual development is completely normal and she is described as a physically healthy child.
She is a delightful little girl who loves to smile and simply needs a family who can provide her long-term support and care.  She has overcome much in her short life and is thriving; however, we believe in the context of a home and loving family she could reach her fullest potential.  Please consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful child.  Please note that interested families have 3 months to submit a Home Study and Dossier.
To adopt this child, applicants must be 30-55 years old and meet an income requirement of $30,000 plus $10,000 per family member with the addition of an adopted child, with at least $80,000 in positive net worth.  Families must have no more than 4 children in the home to pursue this adoption.
