This very cute boy little boy is 4 years old. He loves to listen to music, play with his toys and draw. He is extroverted and enjoys interacting with other children, but reacts even more positively to the attention of adults. This sweet boy responds well to instruction and is currently attending kindergarten. He also has good hand-eye coordination and quickly adapts to changing situations.

This boy has been found to have a malformation of the mouth more commonly known as “wolf jaw.” He has undergone a few surgeries with good results, but further treatment will be needed as his jaw matures. This disability has made speech difficult for him, however, he is currently attending speech therapy and showing good progress. He has a significant understanding of adult speech and in his desire to communicate he often uses gestures. This boy also has been diagnosed with mild mental delays; however, they appear to be very slight and could simply be due to institutionalization.  According to the norms for his age, he is delayed in intellect, motor skills and emotional stability. Positively speaking, he is focused and involved while participating in activities and can comprehend cause and effect relationships, which is very advanced for his age. He conforms to requirements, fulfills tasks, and responds well to praise, continuing to show improvement in all these areas.
