Kroger Card Reminder

We wanted to send a quick reminder to all of you about an opportunity you have for supporting the ministry without costing any of you any extra money. We let you know about this a couple of months ago, and several of you mentioned that you would like to participate but then we didn’t hear from you again. We’re assuming you forgot to follow up, or perhaps you didn’t know what to do next. Thus this e-mail message/reminder.

The program I’m talking about is the Kroger Neighborhood Rewards Gift Card. All you have to do is buy one or more of these gift cards from The Shepherd’s Crook---they are valued at $5.00 each, and they cost you only $5.00 each. You then use the card to buy your groceries from Kroger. You can load the card up before you check out with your groceries---up to $250 at a time---and then use the card to pay for the purchases. Kathy and I have been using ours for several weeks now, and it is surprisingly easy to do. Kroger will donate to TSC an amount equal to 4% of the dollar amount loaded onto the cards every four weeks. This donation does not come out of the value of the cards or out of your purchases: it is a donation from Kroger, to encourage people to use their gift cards and, of course, to shop at their stores. As we said before, this is a tremendous opportunity for us to raise funds for the ministry.

If you would like to participate, just write to us and let us know how many cards you want, and include a check made out to TSC for five dollars per card you’re requesting. Our Administrative Assistant will get your Kroger Gift Cards in the mail to you right away, and you can start using them as soon as you get them. Send your check to The Shepherd’s Crook Ministries, P.O. Box 773, West Chester OH, 45071. As I said, just let us know how many cards you want, and be sure to include your mailing address.
