Regular Update: July 20, 2009

It has been a couple of months since we have sent a regular update, but we are excited to report several new adoptions and a few families that are making the long-awaited trip to bring their children home. Please keep all of these families and precious children in your prayers as lives are rescued and new families are formed!
New Adoptions:
* The Smith family, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, is adopting three children from Liberia: seven-year-old Diamoh, to be renamed Keren; ten-year-old Junior, to be renamed Josiah; and Secret, whose birthday is unknown but who is estimated to be about three years old. Secret will be renamed Daniel. Keren and Josiah are a sibling group, and Daniel suffers from hydrocephalus.
* The Pfister family, of Springboro, Ohio, is adopting one-year-old Suman from India. Suman’s special need is that she has a congenital heart defect.
* The Riley family, of Piqua, Ohio, is adopting six-year-old Prabhat from India. Prabhat’s special need is that he is deaf.
* The Bernadsky family, of Springboro, Ohio, is adopting four-year-old Guo Zheng, whom they plan to rename Caleb, from China. Caleb’s special need is a malformation of one of his arms.
Families Traveling:
* The Conroy family, of Waynesville, Ohio, is traveling this month to Bulgaria to bring home their sons, eight-year-old Nasko and nine-year-old Sevdalin.
* The Whitmire family, of Glenn Heights, Texas, is traveling this month to India to bring home their daughter, two-year-old Amy.
* The Miller family, of Sidell, Florida, is traveling this month to Kazakhstan to bring home their daughter, eight-year-old Valerie.
* The Berter family, of Hamilton, Ohio, is traveling this month to China to bring home their daughter, four-year-old Molly.
