In addition to financial contributions, there are several other ways you can help us on an ongoing basis.

  1. The Shepherd's Crook is able to accept gifts in the form of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. If you would like more information on how to do that, contact us..
  2. The Shepherd's Crook now participates in the Kroger Neighborhood Rewards program offered through the Kroger Company. This program uses special Kroger gift cards as a means of generating donations for The Shepherd's Crook directly from Kroger. Participants puchase a gift card from TSC and use it to buy groceries, as usual. When the card is used up, reload it and keep going. Each month, Kroger will donate 4% of the total loaded onto TSC cards directly to The Shepherd's Crook, and it doesn't cost you, the participants, any extra money. You simply use the Kroger gift card you purchased from TSC to buy the groceries you would be buying anyway, and Kroger takes care of the rest. All Kroger-affiliated stores participate in this program, not just Kroger stores. For more information and to receive a list of Kroger-affiliated stores, write to us and we'll get the information back to you right away.
  3. Capital One has approved us to participate in a program in which any individual can apply for a Capital One Visa credit card with TSC's logo imprinted on it. Every purchase made on these cards will provide us with financial support, as Capital One will donate 1% of every purchase to our ministry. The donation will be made by Capital One. The TSC image and logo on the card could also serve as a conversation starter whenever you use your card, which would help us in our work of spreading the word about special-needs orphans in this world. So, if you are interested in this credit card and a chance to help TSC financially, then please click here in order to find out more about this program or to apply. The application process is easy and fast, and if approved, it will take seven to ten business days for the card to get to you.
  4. Another way you can help is through many of the purchases you may already be making on-line. Go to www.goodsearch.com, enter "Shepherds Crook" under "Who do you GoodSearch for?" and then click on "GoodShop" below. A wide variety of retailers provide donations via GoodShop, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, eBay, Gap, Home Depot, Macy's, Old Navy, Target, Wal Mart, and many more. When you make your purchases through GoodSearch's GoodShop feature, these retailers will contribute a percentage of the purchase directly to The Shepherd's Crook.
  5. Additionally, just using GoodSearch for your default search engine will actually result in additional donations to The Shepherd's Crook.
  6. The Shepherd's Crook is listed as a charitable organization on eBay's GivingWorks donation program (which is done through MissionFish), so you can also provide a donation to the ministry any time you sell something on eBay. For more information on how to use this service to benefit The Shepherd's Crook, go to www.missionfish.org.
  7. Many employers provide matching gift programs to encourage their employees to get involved in charitable giving. We are already set up to receive matching gifts from GE, Liberty Mutual, Microsoft, and Wachovia. Virtually any company that does matching gifts will work with us because of our 501(c)(3) status, so please ask your company if they have a matching gift program. It's a great way to multiply the value of your donation. If you would like more information, contact us.
  8. The Shepherd's Crook Ministries has partnered with a distributor of Melaleuca products in their long-range fund-raising program designed to benefit non-profit organizations such as ours. Melaleuca is a nationally known wellness company that offers over three hundred reasonably-priced household products that are safer for your family and the environment than most products available today. With nearly a billion dollars in annual sales and nearly twenty-five years in business, Melaleuca is one of the largest wellness producers in the world. Melaleuca offers a residual fundraising opportunity in which participating non-profit organizations receive 7% of its supporters' purchases. If you would like to learn more about these products or how you can participate in this fund-raising opportunity, please contact us..
  9. The Shepherd's Crook Ministries has partnered with a distributor of Shaklee products and their non-profit fund-raising plan. Everyone who becomes a new member can designate TSC as the recipient of a portion of the cost of items ordered. The percentage of the gift TSC will receive is dependent on the number of participants in the program, but the minimum should be on the order of 18% of orders placed; this number will increase from there based on volume. Shaklee, in business for over fifty years now, is the number one natural nutrition company in the United States, with over $500 million in annual sales and more than 750,000 members and distributors worldwide.
