In addition to sharing the word about special-needs orphans and supporting their families through the process of adoption, The Shepherd's Crook Ministries also seeks to provide assistance to orphans while they are still in their birth countries. In many of these cases, the orphans are not eligible for adoption. In other cases, these children have needs that are so severe they cannot wait until a family has completed their adoption.

Ongoing Projects

We provide full time foster care for two children. Ali was born in Eastern Europe with a severe heart defect. Through the help of The Shepherd's Crook and other ministries, Ali received the surgeries he needed, but he is not available for adoption. He has been placed with a European foster family, and we pay for his foster care. Daniel suffers from severe hydrocephalus, which went untreated long enough to cause him substantial brain damage. He has had surgery which will prevent the damage from worsening, but he remains very impaired. He now lives in a wonderful foster home in his home country in Eastern Asia where he receives love and care in addition to the therapy that his condition requires. It is our great pleasure to pay for his care at this facility.

Also, The Shepherd's Crook Ministries covers part of the cost for the foster care of three more children who live in Eastern Asia at the Bringing Hope to Children Center.

Special Projects

Not only do we provide assistance to children in these permanent ways, but The Shepherd's Crook also participates in special projects like surgery trips and therapy trips. Watch our news page, or check back on this page for a list of current Special Projects.
